Introducing the OSRE 2026 Cohort
We are excited to introduce the 2026 cohort of the Open Source Research Experience (OSRE) and Summer of Reproducibility (SoR) programs, hosted by the UC Santa Cruz Open Source Program Office (OSPO) and the Center for Research in Open Source Software (CROSS). This year’s cohort includes 15 contributors working through Google Summer of Code (GSoC) and 2 fellows supported through the Summer of Reproducibility program.
These contributors will spend the summer working alongside UC researchers and open source practitioners on projects spanning AI and machine learning, scientific data infrastructure, reproducibility, networking, energy systems, and more. We look forward to seeing their contributions to the open source research community.
