StatWrap: Group and Individual Customizations
Empowering Researchers with Custom Templates, Checklists, and Collaborative Workflows

Hey thereπ! I’m Dibyanshu Pal Kushwaha, an undergraduate studying Electrical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Agartala, India. This summer, I’m excited to be contributing to the StatWrap: Group and Individual Customizations project as part of OSRE 2026, mentored by Luke Rasmussen and ewhitley. Here’s my project proposal if you’d like to dig into the details.
StatWrap is a free, open-source tool that helps researchers document and track their projects for reproducibility - but currently, features like project templates, the reproducibility checklist & attributes are static and the same for everyone. Since every researcher and team works differently, my project focuses on making these features customizable & shareable. Through my project, we’ll be building the ability for users to create, modify, and reuse their own and others project templates and reproducibility checklists, along with import/export functionality so configurations can be easily shared across teams. I’ll also be improving the flexibility of file-level asset attributes, while making sure the system remains secure and reliable. Ultimately, This project helps researchers spend less time dealing with tool limitations and more time focusing on their research, making reproducible workflows easier and more accessible for everyone.
Stay tuned for updates as summer progress! π
